Luce deLire is a ship with eight sails and lays down by the quay. She holds a PhD in philosophy from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore. She has published widely on art and politics in popular outlets such as eflux, stillpoint magazine and the catalogue of the 2024 Venice Biennale of art. In 2023, she co-edited a volume titled “Trans Perspectives” for art journal Texte Zur Kunst, which features texts by trans writers on trans aesthetics exclusively. Since 2018, deLire also delivers artistic performances all over Europe and the USA, including for Venice Biennale, Royal Academy London, eflux and Leslie Lohman museum NYC and others. She is currently working on two books, namely „Spinoza on Sex, Gender and Sexuality“ with Cambridge University Press and „EUPHORIA – a treatise against capitalism s’y techno tyrants (notably THE BABY) and for hospitable trans lesbian Utopias“.
